Need Help With Parts
Ok, i just took my car to get some things done to it. The mechanic just left a message on my answering machine.
The mechanic says it will be 7 1/2 hrs labor for spark plugs, and a tune up? Is that accurate?
Also the guy wants me to pay 160 dollars for spark plug wires???
And 180 for a new intake elbow.
I am going to call him back and see what in the hell is going on and post back what other parts he is saying...etc.
Thanks
Keven

He's trying to rip you off. I'd take that car out of that garage right away. Just take the time and do it yourself. It's not that complicated, you'll save a ton of money and you'll be glad you did it by yourself when you're done.
K after talking to the guy...this is all i need:
1LE intake elbow - runs 60 from SLP, but i could possibly get a deal from that guy you just mentioned...btw what is his s/n here i did a search for jasoncromer and came up with nothing.
Spark Plugs ( i am looking up the ngk wires now)
Spark Plug Wires - I am thinking about getting taylor 8mm wires for about 50. Are these good quality wires?
Also another question...how long would it take to install a y-pipe...i just got an slp one and was wondering with the proper tools how long it would take?
