ok im installing a pro 5.0.. i got the shifter stick off the ball off.. and 3 of the screws that hold the rubber thing in place.. the other 3 are kinda under the council and i cant get to em. How do i get the council out? i see the one bolt under the plate the covers the shift assembly, but how do i get the back half off (front half is all off) what the hell!!? help plz

 

My 95 console is held on with three bolts, one in the back compartment under the CD holder, one under the shifter boot cover and one up front in very front. Next the emergency brake handle has to be pulled up until it's almost vertical. I know if seems like it doesn't travel that far but it will. Lastly you'll need to remove the light socket assembly that's mounted in the back compartment area.
