Need help fast!!!

When looking at an LT1 from the front of the car... what is the order of the cylinder chambers? I dont need to know the firing order, just the order of the chambers. Is it passenger side 1-4 (front to back), or is it driver side 1-4 (front to back)?

I burnt out a spark plug wire and I want to get a new one from crane tomorrow, but i will need to know what cylinder it is.

Thanks
Tony

The driver's side is 1,3,5,7 (front to back) and the passenger's side is 2,4,6,8

I thought that they went in order from 1-4 on one side, then 5-8 on the other? Are you sure that they cross over like that?
