Need help Bfg or E/t streets

Hallo need help to choose tires, my options are
new E/t streets 26-10.5-16 for 640$ or used bfg dragradials 255/60 16 (5 runs) for 440$.
insane price yes i no but thats what it cost in sweden and i dont have the time to wait for boat transport (air is to expensive).
only gona use them at the track (most of them not well prepped)and at local streetraces so i need some addwise here. Is it worth the extra 200 to get the E/T streets?

there is no comparison interms of dry traction. The Et streets are basically slicks with a couple of thin grooves to satisfy DOT approval. The Drag Radials are a soft compound tire but are also suitable for driving on the road. The Et Streets you do not want to drive on the street. I have tried it and if you are only going a few miles in dry weather you shouldn't have a problem, but they are really slicks... In other words they can roll off the rims at speed, the sidewalls are weak, they puncture if you run over anything sharper than a bug.

The choice really depends on your priorities in terms of use. The ET Streets hook significantly better than the drag radials. The Drag Radials handle much better for street use and if there is enough tread you can even drive them home from a washout at the track (as long as you are careful). ET Streets will completely hydroplane at 25 mph on a wet road.

ET streets hands down. However neither is gonna last all that long. I would reccomend against ET streets on the street.sure they are a DOT tire, but down right scary. potholes? hard corners? i wouldnt risk my life on those. And besides running them on the street will dry the tires out and shorten the life significantly.

ET Streets hands down if you only care about the track. And if thats the case you might want to price drag slicks, (not street legal).
