Need fuel info for LT1...

First what is the stock pressure? 42.5 psi?
Secondly what PSI are the SVO's rated at? What is the equivilent at the LT1's pressure?

Lastly what lb injectors would be sufficent for a NA 383?

Stock pressure is 41-47 with the vacuum line off.

I'll let the experts on the subject answer the other questions.

Hmmm Shoebox you provoked another question. I have a walbro 255lph intank pump also..Would this effect the pressure?

It did with mine. FP went to 46/50. Bought an aeromotive FPR to bring it down.

As for what injectors, it depends on your power levels and rev range. 30s are good but could be close depending on revs, FP, and power. 36s would probably cover most applications.

The stock RP's are rated 24.9#/HR @43.5psi (=3.0bar). The SVO's I have seen are generally rated at 2.7bar = 39.15psi. Running a 2.7bar injector at 3.0bar will increase the flow rating by 5.4%. A 24# SVO should deliver 25.3#/HR, assuming it was really rated at exactly 24#/HR. But some injectors are flow rated in grams per second, which causes them not to be exactly a "whole number" #/HR.

Thanks for the conversion Fred.

Its interesting Alex that, that happened...if so I might be able to get away with a 30lber than for 500+ HP.
