Mystery Smell Discovered...Pretty Nasty.

Well i have been smelling a weird smell from my car for about a month now. I thought it might of been my clutch, or my power steering fluid pump shooting fluid on my manifolds and burning off. Well when i was putting my new clutch in i noticed some blood and skin on my y-pipe. Right before it joins together. I forgot to try and get it off after i was done with my clutch install because i was tired and it was around 1:00am. So anyways i figure out that that was what i have been smelling for the past 3 weeks. I don't remember hitting anything though.
Now here is the weird part. Last night i jacked up the car to try to see if i could figure out why my car was vibrating bad over 90mph. While i didn't figure out why it was vibrating i noitced something else. I looked at where the blood was and i swear to god it looked like it was growing. There is about 3 times the amount there was before. Also there is a white clearish looking stuff on it to which i assume is melted skin. There was 2 layers of the stuff. The old blood that how now turned really dark red(almost black), and the new red blood. But i never hit anything. It's crazy. It looks and smells disgusting. I know this has to be sort of rare, ecspecially the way it is happening to me but has this happened to anybody else? How did you get it off the exhaust?

Did you taste it though? That might give you a few more clues...
Sounds like your car is possessed. Better call an exorcist quick!

Just kidding. Get some razors or something and scrape that stuff off. Use some carb cleaner to clean the rest of the stuff.

Well i don't think the car is possesed but i do think it hates me. Maybe i will take a picture of it. Its crazy looking. I just don't know how i could hit 2 animals(well i hope they were animals) without knowing. I was also thinking that maybe a rat or something got into my exhaust system and it is just melting from the inside. But then i guess my exhaust would be all plugged up.

I was kidding......it does sound really strange. Was the car parked for a while? I wonder if a few small rodents moved in and got a sudden surprise? Look around under the hood a little more. There may have been a sleeping mammal in the fan one morning that got sprayed under the car when you started it up.

Try some Lamisil. Wash them feet and apply morning and night for two weeks.

Already tried that. No j/k.

No, it doesn't really smell like burnt hair. I can't really describe it though. Well besides burning blood and skin. You are welcome to come and smell the car if you wanna. It's pretty nasty though the melted skin turns into somewhat of a liquid when its hot. When it cools off it becomes rock hard.
