My next project...
Need suggestions from the gurus again :)

I really like this 4l60e but, a 6 speed would also be nice. Are there any cams that would work well with my 3000 stall? I'm also assuming I would need a new rear end if I took the LSX route? I'd love any suggestions. Thanks, Sam |
Re: My next project...
LT4 Hotcam would work for you but you'll also need better valve springs.

Re: My next project...
anything else like lifters or pushrods? Does it work with the OBD1 style optispark? What sort of performance gains could I expect from that with a proper tune?

Re: My next project...
Do you already have everything listed in the first post? There are a couple questionable items on the list. For example, why do you need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator? Why a stock temp t'stat, rather than a 160°F? Why an MSD Opti? Offers no advantage over the AC Delco.

edit: also I believe the 180 t-stat was a typo when I asked for details from the previous owner. |
