It smells kind of sweet around the engine. Is that a sign of running rich?

Maybe you should have changed your oil with oil and not maple syrup?

It's just a joke...I don't think anyone will take it personally. Rarely do I have a smart-*** comment to make.

.

It may be leaking from the water pump so find out before it damages the opti spark or you'll be walking instead or driving. Other common spot is passenger side front floorboard where heater core is located under dash behind glove box. Check passenger side front carpet for wet spots after driving. Also check freeze plugs (a.k.a. expansion plugs) on block for leaks. Most common one is the one next to the starter where water pressure is low and deposits in coolant system gather and rust out the stock freeze plugs. If they need replacing, go with a brass freeze plug. freeze plug size is same on all the 350 blocks. Good luck!

(There's a big difference between a joke and a smart a$$ comment.) I had a funny answer to that also. Glad I didn't post it now.

The top hose is leaking onto the waterpump. I've tightened it up and it still does it. I guess I'll tighten it a little more.

Cool

Before I replaced my top radiator hose,I had to double clamp the top part to keep it from leaking,I couldn't tighten the first clamp enough. The hose was as soft as a pancake.
