MSD blaster coil

I just did plugs and wires and was thinking about replacing the coil.Is it a good idea to use the msd with a stock ignition or should I just stick with a gm coil?

On a 1997, the stock coil is pretty good. No real reason to buy a new one if yours is working.

Does that still hold true if you have a 95? Or would the MSD help a 95?

A 1995 could benefit from a stronger coil. The coils were changed in 1996.
