MSD 6AL advantages?
 

:D Hey all!
I was just curious, and havent ever really looked into the Ignition system on my car yet. I have after market internals, 1.6RRs, Valve springs, bigger CAM, basically all internal parts replaced/upgraded due to a cracked head (it was a good excuse for upgrades:cool: ) I also have the (i think its 3.5) 3.5" full exhaust from the aftermarket Y-pipe back with an edlebrock muffler (sounds awsome!). Im actually suprised no one ever mentions they use Edlebrock, I love it! ($350 new for the muffler)
ANYWAYS! sorry for the run-on, I was curious as to the advantages of getting one of those MSD 6AL unit things for my 94 LT1. Why do it? What do I gain? Is it worth it? What does it replace or add on to? Id imagine its just an improved spark to the plugs?

Unless you're gonna put nitrous in that or go with a supercharger, don't waste your money. Of course it will help out your car a little, but not worth the money for one.
