MSD 6A improvments?

Has anyone installed an MSD 6A or 6AL unit that helped or cured an ignition problem? The car is tuned right but I was told that an MSD box would help smooth things out and help start up etc.

Anyone with any success stories?

I've heard that they will smooth out the idle a little and have no SOTP HP change. They are really good for non NA engines.

I've had problems with sometimes fouling plugs the few times I've had mine unplugged and left it idling for a while. You could literally hear it not running on all cylindres, after hooking the MSD back up for a few mins it smoothed back out. This isn't typical, and I'm tuned way way too rich...but it will help to some extent regardless.

Hmm ok, Im not expecting any HP gains but Ive been having a high RPM miss lately and now the only conclusion I can come to is that the spark is being blown out. I guess we'll see what happens.

When I first installed my NX kit on the car I didn't have a MSD. The car would start to hesitate around 5k on the nitrous. I put a MSD 6A on and it revs to 6,500+ without issues.
