auto or manual? I know the 6 speeds can get really good gas mileage with that 2 gear advantage on the freeway. I have an A4 and I get about 220-230 now.

Well I just finished up my cam install and I logged about 210 on a tank with some in town and some highway and quite a few wide open runs threw 4th. I was shocked at the fact that my mileage didnt drop to drastically. But I havent installed my 3.73s yet either. I think that will be my biggest milage killer.

You need to figure out your actual Miles per Gallon not miles per tank to get an accurate measurement. Use your trip meter between fill ups.

If you drive 200 miles and it take 12 gallons to fill the tank up......16.6mpg

300 miles on 16 gallons......18.75

Get the idea?

Most I've ever gotten on the highway is about 28-29 mpg and in the city it's anywhere from 12-16 depending on my mood!

If you stop driving 180 mph, you'll get much better mileage.

I average about 15 mpg in city driving, which I think is pretty good considering the traffic and the hills here. My highway mileage consistently works out to 26 mpg driving at 85 mph most of the time. I'm sure I could add at least another 2-3 mpg if I slowed down to about 70-75 mph.

You guys are insane! I get 280 miles to the tank on all city driving. I know a drive like my grandma sometimes, but I still have fun occasionally.
