motor mount question

i'm going to be building a 6" rod, 4-bolt block 383 in the near future. i want to upgrade the motor mounts and was wondering if i should go with solid or poly? i've seen the poly mounts on thunder racing's site, but i have no idea which one would be right for my application.

TIA for advice and/or suggestions.

If this is a street driven car, do not do solid mounts. Wat too much vibrations. Even the poly mounts will shake the **** out of you. If you can, I would stick to stock rubber. Unless you don't mind feeling every shake and bump your car has to offer.

the car is strictly a saturday night driver. one of the reasons i asked about new mounts is that i think i may have left one of the brackets attached to my old block that the machine shop threw away. i'm assuming that the general will want more for stock replacements than the poly or solid mounts cost. maybe i'll have to look around in the attic for all the brackets...
