problems with idle

For some reason my car doesnt like to idle right at times. Sometimes it will idle at 650-700rpm and stay there the rest of the drive till i shut the car off, when i start it again itll idle around 900-1100 and be very rough. Car is 97 formula, 79k miles with pacesetter LT's, ORY, CAI with brand new OTVC wires and ngk tr55 plugs with roughly 4k miles on them. Any ideas on things to check would be greatly appreciated.

Re: problems with idle

does the car seem a little down on power? check your vaccum. could be a vaccum leak?

Re: problems with idle

Check your IAC counts. You need a scanner to do this though. A scanner can tell you what your vacuum is doing also. You should create a signature so that we have a general idea of what is done to your car. For example, the valves may need adjusted, but I don't know if you have any mods at all, besides what you've listed.
