M6 is making noise, help!

I just noticed I sometimes have trouble dropping my car into first from a roll, sometimes it grinds but not all the time.

Today while driving I noticed if I leave the shifter in gear and push the clutch in I hear vibration/gears coming from the trans. It sounds like a somethings out of balance. You guys have any idea?

Sounds like the master/slave is crapping out. Check that out.

Unbolt the slave from the tranny (2 1/2" nuts). Route it up to the drivers side of the motor. Take the cap off the resivoir(sp?) for the fluid. Then pump the slave and see if any air comes out of it. If some comes out that might help. If not, push the slave all the way in with your hand and have someone push the clutch pedal in. If the end of the slave comes all the way out then its fine, but if its stopping halfway and you need to pump the clutch pedal for it to come out all the way then it needs replacing. I ordered a new slave cylinder for my 94 today and all it costed me was $81 canadian Good luck.

I just took it for a ride, no noise when clutch was disengaged. Although it still did not like going into first gear and I noticed a little whine when the shifter moved into the next gear.
