Hey guys, i have a 95 trans am and i have been getting my engine rebuilt, i sent my new AS&M 54mm throttle body over to the shop, but my builder says that the IAC sensor is different for the new AS&M throttle body then the stock. DOes anyone know what the deal is?

 

I have a AS&M 58mm TB that is about a year old and I purchased an IAC from Advance auto and it fit right in and work great, not problem.

 

part number? Also, so that means i do need somthing other then stock?

 

No. When I went to Advance I told them I needed one for a '94 Lt1 and it fit perfectly. I'm not sure if they changed it or if maybe your mechanic has it wrong but the stock replacement one worked for me
