LT4 Hotcam install

Hi everyone, just bought my first Camaro (97 Z28 4L60e), second LT1 car (first was a 92 vette w/ Zf 6 speed, a love/hate relationship). Enjoyed car for hour I got to drive it before it spun a rod bearing (got car for $1k, rod bearing was on way out)!

Anyways, im installing the 60000 mile impala/caprice block with my 136000 mile Aluminum LT1 heads and intake. Looking for thoughts on my set up before I throw it in:

First things first: this engine is a temporary set up until the ZZ383 spec (really wanted to go LT route but fast burn heads with 210 runners for super cheap sealed the deal) motor me and my buddy are putting together is finished, and its gonna be incredible. Im looking for a fun set up till the 383 is completed (about 2 months away, aftermarket FI is EXPENSIVE)

My stock heads are going in with a brand new set of Comp cams 1.5 shaft mounted rollers. I purchased a LT4 hotcam because I want a little lope to my idle and am hoping around 260 rwhp . I know that my LT1 valve springs are not going to be up to the task. Im thinking $39.99 jegs GM perf LT4 springs? I think its the bang for my buck..

Im thinking that with a stock computer and stock redline, and 1.5 rockers, the LT4 springs will be sufficient and safe with the hotcam specs and the roller rockers reduced friction despite my heavyish valves. Im not porting or valve job, not interested in putting in the money, so I know I probably will be strangling the cam a bit, but again im not shooting for big numbers. I dont want to trash my super nice shifting but very stock 4L60 or rear end, that will come later :).. To help the little 1.94 valves and 170 cc runners get all the air they can, Im thinking 52 mm TB ( I have one ready to go) and my K&N intake should be good..

so summary:

LT4 hotcam
60000 mile 2 bolt block with Good H R Lifters
LT4 springs, new retainers
97 MY LT1 aluminum heads 136000 miles
1.5 Comp cams roller rockers
KandN intake
stock intake, computer tune, Ex Manifolds for now
All felpro OE gaskets and Bolts

Thoughts? Problems I might run into? Should I go stock 48 mm or 52 mm TB?

BTW motor started and ran great besides bad rod bearing.. Heads are clean and did not show any signs of bad valve seal wear, no smoke on start up after 1 year of sitting!
