lt4 hot cam Horsepower and videos
 

How much horsepower would I have if I put a lt4 hot cam in? I have CAI, 3.73's, a flowmaster, and hooker longtubes. Does anyone have videos or sound clips on how a lt1 with this cam sounds? Thanks.

This one has been answered numerous times, you can probably find some dyno sheets if you do a search, but most people dyno anywhere from 320 - 340 with a hotcam. ONCE in a blue moon I see someone do 350. 330 is what I would expect from an average car with the supporting mods you have.

I think your quote is correct if the car also has ported heads. If you leave your heads alone and dont port, then anywhere from about 300-315rwp would be my guess.

You're kidding right? Only 15 rwhp more than a bolt on car? Come on...I'd be frustrated if my car only gaind 25 hp with a cam. If it only made 15, I'd be PISSED.

I guess it all depends what bolt ons and what else is done to the car. I was guessing around 300 or a little over with untouched heads simply because of the fact most hotcammed cars I have seen trap right around 107-110mph in the 1/4 mile. Since trap speed is a direct indicator of the amount of HP being made, those speeds are very close to a lot of mostly stock LS1s that are putting out right around 300 or slightly more at the rear wheels.
