quick hotcam question

i ordered a LT4 hotcam on ebay for pretty cheap, all the part numbers and everything on the card and the box match up, but the card says the intake/exhaust duration @ .050 is 219/228 but everywhere else i see that sells the hotcam lists it as 218/228, is this right?

I remember I found the same when I installed the hotcam in my previous motor.
You should be allright.
By the way, a 2400 stall works great with the hotcam.

The parts numbers are correct, I wouldn't worry about it.

Be sure to install some fresh LT4 valve springs along with the hot-cam (didn't see those in the photos). Also, I see you have the 1.6 RRs which is also a great up-grade. I really liked my hot-cam when I was doing bolt-ons and I'm sure you will like it. I went from 13.40s to 12.60s with the hot-cam.

yea they're in the other box, thanks! those are some really good numbers you had too. i ran a 13.5 with my current mods and only made 1 pass before the track closed, so i could have possibly gotten a 13.4 but who knows. i was hoping for at least a 12.9 after the cam but maybe now i can wish for a mid 12 as well

With a quality stall in the 3200 range, along with a set of 3.73 gears, and a set of stickie tires, no problem.

My hotcam also said 219/228 on the card, I had to look at it a couple of times to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
