oil drive?

I pulled the intake off my lt1 today and the oil pump drive I'm not sure the correct term but its the drive that looks to run offf the camshaft that slides in the block in the same spot as the distributor would go on a old sbc. Anyways back to the point the plastic on the top is broke and want to replace it. Anyone have a part number or link to where I can find it? I've looked on summit ,autozone and a few other places and can't find it. Any help will be appriciated thanks

I think someone may make an upgraded replacement.

[EDIT] found this one.... pricey though.

Re: oil drive?

I have the stock replacement with my car...no problems yet at all even with the high pressure spring in the pump.

What do you mean by "bigger"? HV pumps are known to contribute to early failure due to wear of the gear on the oil pump drive. What does the gear look like?

Re: oil drive?

Rob is asking if there is any abnormal wear on the gear, like it's been chewed up.

Re: oil drive?

Yea my fault man i couldn't understand why u wouldn't know what it looks like. Haha . But mine looks in perfect shape except at the top where it bolts down the plastic busted. I would post a pic but don't have a camera at the moment. Thanks again guys. I've got a used one I found in a old lt1 block I had in the shop but I don't wanna use it and it break on me going down the road. I can't decide wether it'll be fine or if I should buy a new. Any thoughts on that?

Re: oil drive?

Ive used the stock OP drive with HV pumps, HV high pressure pumps, and high pressure std vol pumps iwth no drive gear problems. I would look to the cam or installation if they are getting eaten.
