"LT1 Tech" questions not exactly "tech"

im not gonna throw any names out there b/c thats not what this is about. however ive seen an increased amount of questions posted in this forum that have nothin to do with LT1 Tech. so what exactly is LT1 tech?, who the hell knows but c'mon guys put basic statements or simple not LT1 related questions in the lounge or somewhere else better suited. also i propose that an exhaust forum be created , my how that would cut down on "which exhaust" post in LT1 Tech.

PS again i didnt throw any names out there b/c as a newbie i prolly created junk post in the wrong forums but as a somewhat advanced member im tired of seeing people post any and everything in LT1 Tech like its the only forum.

An increased amount? It's been this way as long as I've been here.
Car questions in the lounge are a waste of time.
But I agree, there is a lot of clutter in LT1 Tech.

We don't need an exhaust forum... too much confusion and not necessary. What we need is more people to use the search function.

Yea, there has and always will be non-tech questions in here.

Well depends on what you mean by non-LT1.

I've seen a few questions here that have been like "my lt1 lawnmower..uh..yeah.." and such stuff like that, and those are ok here and there I figure, because it doesn't happen a lot and sometimes you just need help with that sorta thing.

Now if someone posts something about something that they don't get like exhaust or tires or etc etc, should it be in this forum? Yeah sure why not, it's on an LT1 car, so it is 93-97 tech. That's what I think it really means when it says LT1 Tech.

I look at it basically the same way. If it's totally off the wall, or doesn't contain specific 93-97 info, then it doesn't belong here.

Also, if you guys see posts that you think don't belong here, then just alert a moderator and it will get taken care of.
