LT1 oil pan drain bolt size?

I'm going to do an oil change and just curious as to what size wrench to use to take the drain bolt off. 97 lt1.

Hi Isabel.rose,

I am pretty sure it is a 17 mm on the 1997. That is what I have on my 1996 but my earlier 1995 drain bolt is a much larger 13/16".
