lt1 intake w/felpro 1206 or =

Just looking to see if anyone has pictures or links to some that show where a felpro 1206 (or equivalent ... 1.34 in. x 2.21 ) would land on the stock lt1 intake manifold.

Thanks much

You'd probably need a LT4 intake if you are using a 1206 gasket ... I've used 1205 gaskets with the LT1 intake - don't think you can go any larger without welding.

On top of that you might as well use the GM 12367777 gasket. 2.29 x 1.24, that's slightly smaller in area but the higher roof helps. That's not going to fit on a LT1 intake unless you weld the area above the port opening, but then you have to weld everything else up. It's just a long process of welding and then find out more problems really, lol.

I used the 1206 on my LT1 intake when I had the Brodix heads. It fit the heads fine, but getting the intake to match properly was difficult. I was barely able to get the mismatch to seal. I don't think it's a good idea.
