Im looking into getting some LT1 pacesetter longtube headers probly coated. Were is a good place to find them, and the best price. I also will need to get a Y pipe or can I use the stock one. There for a 1995 LT1.

 

Pacesetters are an excellent header. You are really not going to find a "deal" on them unless you know somebody selling them or you can find them on ebay. I believe you can get them direct from http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/pe...d=30&year=1995, or summit, or jegs. And, you need to know if you want to keep emissions or not. Do an internet search and you will find many places that sell them.

Yeah, Speed Engineering is your best bet, PM them and see what they can do. Otherwise, Summit may be the next best choice.

i was just about to post the same thing. i got mine from them back in the spring. found them for $469 though. dont know why they are not selling for the same price anymore

 

pacesetter is smart and realized they can make more money by selling a higher amount of headers at a cheaper price
i.e. you make $100/header instead of $170, but because the price is lower, more people buy them

Got my pacesetters coated for $374 shipped was the best deal I could find

 

shamrock auto on ebay. that price included an ORY. i think i came to around $500 total w/ shipping

 

I got mine from Byunspeed.com for about $500 with the Y pipe.
