theres a guy sellin slp headers for a single cat camaro 93-95, and i have a 97 camaro z28.. so my question is, will these headers work for my car some way>? and what things would have to be done

 

since nobody replied yet, ill take a stab in the dark...

Im guessing it has to do with your cats. Since you have a 97, you have 2 cats, whereas a 93-95 has one. I don't think the headers will bolt up to your Y pipe correctly.

If the headers come with a y pipe, it will work, but you will loose your cats.

 

If you can get a y pipe with them they will work, but you will have to delete the rear 02's from the computer.

 

oh i c. thanks alot guys. i live in northern bc, so i know there isnt a tuner for obd2 up here lol.. i guess i'll jus wait for some shorties for dual cat cars.
