Howdy, I am putting a 94 Camaro LT1 in my FJ62 Landcruiser and am wondering whether or not I should spend money on headers or not. Keeping in mind I may have issues in fitting the headers, am I likely to have any major gain in performance by going from stock manifolds to blockhuggers? What about tuned length headers or a tri y setup? Also, since I live in New Zealand there are limits on availability of different headers and in some cases only LS1 headers for 350s are available. Can LS1 headers be fitted to LT1s? Can normal round port headers (old style SBC) headers be used to any advantage on an LT1. Thanks in advance. Matt.
