LT1 engine swap (computer location)

I will be swapping an LT1 out of a 96 Camaro into my 69 Camaro. For those that have tackled this task, what is the best location to place the computer?

I appreciate the info!

I would continue the swap with a 411 pcm swap and try to mount it somewhere in the engine bay.

Re: LT1 engine swap (computer location)

OP

If using the donor wiring harness & PCM, I would mount the pCM inside theDS fender by making a bracket. If your 69 will no longer need a voltage regulator and horn relay (or move the horn relay) and put windshield washer bottle on the PS inner fender if it isn't already there, you could mount the pCM on the DS core support. IMHO it would look cleaner inside the DS fender
