LT1 engine swap..
LT1 engine swap..
I tried doin a search many times over the past few days, but for some reason cant get it to work. I remember there was a good write-up on this wahile back, but with no search im outta luck. so does anyone still have this link? if not how hard is it to do really? ive been priced from around 1200-800 to put a new longblock (well not new.. but out of a 97 and has less than 20k miles on it) into my 94. those prices are also labor only, not figuring new fluids gaskets and all that good stuff. Is it really worth that much, i dont have a whole lot of mechanical skills, but i think i can manage doing a swap of it came out therefore it must go back in! lol. Now i dont want this to sound like i know nothing of engine swaps, ive helped my grandfather do an engine swap in an older F150, and helped my dad put a 4cyl in his jeep. with any luck i could get my uncle to help me do the swap on the camaro (then i wont even need any advice cause hes done itbefore.. and dropped a 454 in one lol.) but ignore all that how hard is this to do, or should i give up and fork over the 800-1200 for the swap?
