Why not just leave it alone. The factory one really isn't that bad.

 

Other than the above, I think most of you are missing the point; these brackets aren't intended to be used on an F-body, but rather to install an LT1 in a street rod. Most pre-48 cars have tall, narrow engine compartments that don't leave a lot of room for accessories, so the accessory mounting has to be a little more creative.

 

i know that... I was just thinking that, say... the battery is in the trunk, maybe i could spread out my accessories for a little more so say... I throw another blower belt, that way I dont have to take off soo much stuff to get down there to the pulleys... if any of you have thrown a blower belt, you should know what I mean.
