LT1 edit question

I have a '97 LT1 which is a OBDII computer. I went from 2.73 gear to 3.42's. And I was wondering if anyone has edit for OBDII?

Just wondering what I can do to fix my speedometer. Everyone has OBDI in the hampton roads, norfolk area.

Any thoughts?

I have gotten with a couple of people on edit but most are OBDI and I would have to convert.

It seems fairly basic as to what you need to do... buy LT1 Edit for OBDII and cable and make the simple adjustment in the program for your gear change. Am I missing something about your questions

Maybe I should have written that better, I was wondering the price range of edit.

I am talking to someone right now and its about 320.00 to get a spot on their cable and pay the shipping and insurence on it to get it on there. I didn't know if that pretty much is the going price or are there cheaper ways?

Just trying to see if there are other avenues, I know I can get a tunner cat and do it as well but I think edit is the better route.

There isn't an OBDII version of Tunercat available yet.
If you're just looking for a cheap way to reprogram your PCM for the gears, I have a package that offers just that.

The OBDII software for one car is $550. You could also try a Hypertech which is cheaper. ($130-$170)

Oh, by the way. If you get just the cable from someone, it won't work on your car. You'll also have to swap PCMs. (engine computers)

She's talking about reserving a spot on someone's cable which already has two vins on it.

The options are to;

A.) convert to OBDI and use tunercat (already have a copy of tunercat)

B.) Get in on LT1 Edit for about $320

C.) Get a HPP3 for $170-200

The mods include;

CAI, Ported MAF, Electric Water pump, 3.42 gears, and a flowmaster muffler.

More mods will come like stall, but not for a while, and not on this transmissions current build. Is torque management a problem on LT1's with OBDII?
