LS1 exhaust on LT1

I can get a pretty good deal on an LS1 Borla exhaust for a '99. I was wondering how hard it would be to put it on my '96 T/A? Anyone done the swap or know what's involved?

You might have to buy the installation kit that SLP makes for LT1 guys with the loudmouth.

I have a LS1 catback on my 95. I just had a 3" S pipe fabricated for me at an exhaust shop.

For your '96, you wont need a s pipe. Depending on how it the I pipe was cut, you may just need to have it extended to meet up with your y pipe. It would be an easy installation.

well the cats aren't an issue since I'm in Mississippi. I was debating whether you run a straight pipe through them or just ditch them altogether.
