Will a LS1 bolt up to a 94 4L60E? I have heard that the bolt pattern on the LT1 and LS1 are different or something is different.Anyone know for sure,anyone done this?

 

Well, I think the trannies are diferent. I know that a T56 from an LS1 will not bolt to an LT1, so I would have to say no.

What are you going to do about the LS1 engines taller height? One of the big reasons for the new bodystyles front end was more height to clear the engine.

After you buy all the stuff, and all the headache is over I think it would be less expensive in time and money just to buy an LS1 car..........

Or mod the f**k out of your LT1

I was not aware the LS1 was taller.Thanks for the info.I think I will stick to modifying my LT1.

 

Might try a search first just in case, I'm just pretty sure that there is a lot more to it than just bolting everything together. In any case, good luck to you
