Low Coolant Light

After having a blown head gasket and fixing that among other things. Trying to fix some of the smaller things. Of course I have a concern because the low coolant light is coming on only when the temp is reaching 227 and 1st fan relay comes on. Its not low on coolant and the system seems to be working fine from the overflow back to the radiator. Used my scan tool and the temps seem fine. I went ahead and ordered a new sensor just concerned after going through all of this work with a blown head gasket. Don't need anymore issues.
Thanks

Re: Low Coolant Light

Failure of the sensor is common. Just make sure your coolant is full. Check to see if it is up to the top of the radiator when cold.
