Low coolant light

Searched and found that it often goes bad on its own and a common fix is to either unplug or get a new one. However, I would like to make sure its not something else in my system. Its been going on pretty much every day for the last few weeks, only after my car gets up around 210, then it kicks on and it seems like the car cools off and get warmer faster after it goes on. Its never on when I initially start up the car and it stays off till my car hits about 210. Could it be something other than the sensor?

Re: Low coolant light

try replaceing the radiator cap. could be getting hot and letting the coolant escape. or when it starts acting up check the over flow if its way hi that would be a good indication to.
