"Looks" of the GM847

the cam that I got (GM847) is very strange looking. It is gold and silver and the lobes appear to be "small looking". Everthing checked out between the part number and the grind number, but it really looks different than any cam I've seen before. Is this normal???????

It is a billet cam , thats the reason of the coloring and such. Hold a stock LT1 cam next to it and then look closely at the lobes, you'll see a BIIIG difference.

The dist/oilpump drive gear though is apressed on cast peice so you can use the stock gear on your oilpump plug.
