Might want to add a "signature" with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, tranny and any major mods. There are differences in the LT1's (e.g. - speed-density 93) that would affect the answer.

You don't lose torque/HP because of loss of backpressure. The longer primaries should also help low end.
It sounds like a "closed loop" problem. Start looking for anything you might have upset during the install - O2 sensor wires, contaminated sensors, knock sensor wire, grounds, etc. Check for leaking gaskets before the O2 sensors. |
i was going to have my o2 sensors and air/egr tuned out of my computer so will tht make a difference in how it runs?

if your running your car without the primary o2 sensors then that will def be a problem. if not than i would suspect the o2 harness extensions that you installed for the primary sensors
i do not recommend tuning out the primary o2 sensors (closest to the motor) but the rear sensors are fine to tune out or drive without but you will get a engine light until you have them tuned out |
somebody told me i need to have all my o2 sensors tuned off. i really dont know what the hell is going on the car still runs strong its just i feel like i lost power on the street without my catalytic converters and my new header system
