Limitations on Stock Internals?

Ok guys looking for a little help on making my mods. I will try to keep it short but I would like to do a street/strip head cam combo, all bolt ons like cai, headers, exhaust, and maybe a 100 shot of NX. If I changed all of the gaskets and timing chain and everything when doing these mods my question is how will the stock pistons, rods, and crank do with this combo. The engine has been extremely well maintained and runs great. It has 85,xxx miles and that is what I am wondering, will it hold up or should I go ahead and pull the motor (which is what I am trying to avoid) and put forged pistons and rods in it. What are you guys with these types of mods running for an engine combo? Just trying to be safe though, don't want to try and sound cheap to save a buck. Give me you all opinions. Thanks in advance.

well thta all depends on you? if you drive the car alot and rack up miles then i would pull the motor now and do it right. other wise your going to be doing it all again in about 2 years or so. i know thats not what you wanted to hear but sorry.

Yeah that is what I was thinking and I know that the right way to do it is to put new pistons, rings, and rods in it. Do it right the first time and save money in the long run, right? Is that what all you other guys think?
