Lifter Placement

Not until after I removed all the old lifters did I notice a small oil orifice hole on one side of each lifter.

Is there a specific direction these holes need to be; i.e. facing forward or aft?

Nope just drop em in. Make sure you oil em first though.

They've been soaking in a can of oil for over a week. Thanks for the info.
