LE4 383 road course vid
Ok, you may have seen my 350 le2 road course vid at roebling, here is my new motor -LE2 heads LE4 cam 383 at road atlanta...still working the bugs out, only running this motor to about 6-6.5 k, it did well at it's first outing, car is 95 z28...lot's of traffic on track, so no clear runs, I had to let up well ahead of the braking zone on the back straight, still hitting over 140 mph.

Nice video. What kind of oil system are you running? When I did an open track day I was on street tires and stock suspension and I saw my oil pressure guage fluctiating so I'm thinking about adding an accusump to it since I've added all my suspension stuff and I'll be on some better tires. And what kind of radiator are you running? My stock one would overheat in 2-3 laps so I bought a becool and I'm hoping that it will be enough of an improvement.

As far as the radiator, the stock one is still in, but some extra capacity would help-Saturday was over 100 degrees and water temp was at 240 oil at 270, Sunday was about 85-90 degrees and water was 220 oil was about 230 or so. I also have a big oil cooler installed.
That cobalt was part of some magazine shootout, they showed up with a massive toter and trailer with a whole team, they also had some ricer drag car that ran 8's ...don't know much about that scene
I am running a canton oil pan, and I have a 3 quart accusump which is not installed yet. I did see the needle on the oil pressure flutter a bit in turn 10a/10b and in the hard braking zone. I put in some more oil and that took care of the problem, but then I started burning oil in the same areas, it seems to be overflowing. I am not going to run my car again until I get the accusump in. If you run a stock oiling system, my guess it wont last, I spun the mains on my last motor.

Either way I'm not going back to the track until I get an accusump on my car.

Very cool video. But Demus is right. Ya need a little help on lines... and perhaps it was practice and all but... you were still braking really early when all those little "toy" cars began braking. Second half of video got a bit better though, looked like you weren't so nervous and had some fun. Saw some bumper riding which is racing! Very nice though, hope I can get back to it soon.
Your line makes baby jesus cry. Maybe it was just the angle of the video, but it looks like you have early turn-in syndrome. The more underpowered vehicles were leaving you in the dust coming onto the straights. For those corners I would apex much later and get on the power much sooner. This also sets you up better to pass when there's lots of traffic like there was.
