LE2 heads/cam

What kind of HP are cars with these setups running? Times?
Anyone ever compared LE to AI setups?

with the right converter deep in the 11s. but the headers, converter, gear and tuning are really important.

Re: LE2 heads/cam

with a good tune, headers, etc...dosen't the le2 make 420-430 rwhp? with a good stall and serious weight reductions that could be low elevens and semi street-friendly

Re: LE2 heads/cam

You would probably want to go with a shorter gear in the rear end.

Re: LE2 heads/cam

KRYCKTER'S LE2 setup put down 417rwhp, m6 ,full bolt-ons, and a good tune,3.73 gears. The thing is , he IS still on stock valves. The LE2 packages come with bigger valves, his did not because of cash reasons. Plus a ported lt1 intake sould help out the numbers some more. The car is very streetable with the right tune, you pay for what you get, or you just do it yourself. But the car by no means is a sleeper, when the car comes out people know its fast just by the earthquakes.

Re: LE2 heads/cam

When I was down in TX visiting Lloyd I want to say that his/our new LE2 setup made 424rwhp.... I wish I had more details on that. Not bad for a cam that's smaller than a CC306 to make that kind of power.

I've got some good videos of Kryckter's car as well, idle, dyno pulls etc...

Did you step the cam down again? Last I heard/saw you guys were bottom 230s Intake and 240s Exhaust? I know Joe's LE2 cam was 234ish and that you were right in that area (just under). A CC306 is 230/244...Did you go smaller again?

Just curious...cause thats good power if your really in the 22X size.

No comment.... that's all I can say.

If you saw the cam specs you would be amazed.

Is it greater or less than 230 Intake? (Not asking how much, just if it is or isn't)

Shoot, Bret didn't even tell me....or maybe he did and I forgot. Memory is the second thing to go...or is it the first?

You know the three things guys lie about the most? How big, how many, and how much duration in their cams. Oh yeah, and non-gearheads lie about miles per gallon they get on their greenmobiles.

I don't think he's fixin' to say on the cam specs.
