LE1 bolt ons - going to break something?

I am doing some work on my car this winter and am worrying about snapping my driveshaft or ****ing up my transmission. i will be doing LE1 heads, dual cb exhaust, LT headers, 503 cam (prs, springs etc), cold air induction and a few other small goodies. honestly, will i break something with this setup on a stock A4 transmissio and driveshaft? i know its "all in how hard you hook" or "depends on how you drive it". i wont be hooking that well because i dont go to the track and i have street tires, the truth is i will probably be spinning more than hooking, and i dont abuse my car when i drive but i will want to use the new power of course. so idk. any help is appreciated.

There are people testing their driveshaft/trans/rearend more so then you are and they are managing to keep everything together. Then there are some who have a cold air intake and a catback and still manage to blow out a trans. or a rearend. Its just one of those things. Its always a good idea to start planning ahead in the event that one of those drivetrain parts will fail one day.

the driveshaft and rear won't really be a problem with the stock stall converter. Now the transmission might be a different story. The 4l60e aren't known to take power very well even in built forms. Not saying its gonna blow or slip but it is deff. the weakest link in your drivetrain.

The rear WILL go before the transmission assuming they're both in good shape, I've been through 3 rears in the last year (no smart remarks needed ) My transmission did finally give up but it was slipping for awhile. The rear will be fine assuming you don't put sticky tires on and you're not having alot of wheel hop, and you don't go to the track. But then where's then fun in that?

Wow thats kind of odd you went through 3 rears in an a4 car before the tranny took a crap, the 10 bolts usally live a lot better behind the autos.
