Knock module question

I was wondering if it is worth it to buy a LT4 knock module even though I havent done extensive internal work. I dont have headers or a cam, so is it just a waste of money or what. If it isnt a waste of money where should I purchase one? THanks

Ditto here, I have always wondered when does it the knock module help the car? I figured it is probably with cams and head work but not sure. I am interested also if there is any gains to be had before internal work?

If you don't have a problem with false knock, why would you buy the KM? It does a good job fixing a false knock problem(20* on mine ), but it's not going to build horsepower for you.

How do you know if you have false knock or not. Is the only way to scan it somehow? or what?

Grab a scan tool or datamaster software with a laptop.
