Kickdown/shift cable hook up

Guys, I dont own a camaro, but my engine is out of a 97 Z28, and i recently rebuilt it and dropped it into my 1982 chevy full size blazer 2wheel drive. The problem I came across is hooking up the shift cable from my 700r4 to the throttle blades on the throttle body. The throttle linkage on the old carb turned clockwise when you punch it and would shift the trans...now on the throttle body it turns counterclockwise when you accelerate. Is there any way to hook up the cable???? thanks

Re: Kickdown/shift cable hook up

can you fab a bracket to go to the top instead of the bottom or something like that?

You need a throttle body, cable and bracket for a 93 camaro, or you need to fab something up

Re: Kickdown/shift cable hook up

thanks guys. At least now I have an idea of what to look for at the junkyard, and where to start. I could probably fab it up if I knew what it looked like.
