Re: Keep blowing ignition fuses HELP ????
That fuse is only connected to 3 things. The coil, ICM and CKP. Disconnect all 3 and the fuse and put an ohm meter from the pink wire at anyone of the connectors to ground. Now wiggle the hell out of all the wiring from the coil and the ICM and the crank sensor. Watch the meter for it to go low in resistance. When it does, you are close to a spot that is touching ground.
If that gets you nowhere, try plugging in one of the devices. Keep your ohm meter on one of the other connectors. Now try heating up the device that you connected to the harness with a blow dryer. Heat it just to the point of not being able to touch it. View the reading on the meter to see if it is now much lower than when it was first connected to the harness. If so, the device is breaking down when hot. Do this with all 3 devices. You will have to unplug one and move your meter when you get to the last one. Good luck |
