To the professionals thats doubted my engine......

1.) Blown a head gasket 4 years ago. Poured that mix stuff that seals headgaskets. "WORKED!"

2.) Blew a ring on the head gasket "2 1/2 years ago" and it shot coolant toward my radiator. Car was pouring white some and barely ran with lots of coolant in the motor. "milkshake"replaced the driver side gasket "ONLY" and the head was warped so had it machined.

3.) So when you blow two head gaskets and do only one many people say I will ruin the bearings etc.. And with 160,00 mile they say with one head shaved you will ruin the "motor" well it been years and it runs like a virgin and still pulls sideways under 40 MPH. Mechanics laugh and are amazed when they see my car and brag about it. A lot of mechanics doubted and said once you replace one head or have coolant dumped in your motor it won't last or run like it used to.

SORRY FOR THE RANT BUT HAD TO LET IT OUT. LT1 ALL THE WAY!!!!

Reason why for blowing the first head gasket was my fault for not changing my aging coolant hose. I did all of this at my old shop with a great friend.

You have an a4 that will kick itself side ways from a 40(or below) mph roll? That is impressive.

Since you blew a head gasket after doing #1, I would say maybe it didn't work, eh? Perhaps it contributed to your next failure?

Coolant on the bearings will cause earlier failure. It just depends on how severe the contamination was and for how long.

People say lots of things using generalities. That does not mean you have to believe them.

Congratulations on your bandaided engine.
