tr55 is very not an iridium plug
the TR55IX is the ngk iridium plug
as far as plugs go though i run the ngk tr6 for nitrous but if i was running a motor car i would run the ac delco 41-906 they are the OEM single platinum plug and i my car with cam and other junk ran the best with those and those lasted till i changed them over for nitrous

I'm running the AC-Delco Iridums (don't have the PN handy), they are running great and are lasting well. I pulled a few plugs after about ten races and they looked perfect, or almost new.

What gap are you running on your plugs?

I've been running the same set of Denso IT20's for 4 years without a problem. The Iridiums seem to make the car run smoother. I tried the regular NGK TR55's for a short period, and went back to the old set of Densos.
