Is the LT1 an interferance engine? and if i were to put 1.7 rr on with a stock cam would it chance that?

 

YES it is an interference motor. You may get really close to coil bind on your stock springs if you using a 1.7RR i would suggest upgrading the valve springs at the same time. ive known people that pick up power when swaping to better springs.
