Let me guess...you broke off a bolt trying to bolt the waterpump back to the engine?

Oh whoa is me, someone feel sorry for me.

Get over it, some of us have actually had bad things happen to us, I almost electrocuted myself trying to install a jet fan switch.
I did not get on here and look for sympathy I just got it done.
If you have a question then ask but don,t just give up and try to get someone to say its ok.
Get back out there and get er done.

yeah i got that bolt extracter ..im ready to go at it again. Sucks that its -5* outside and i spend hours laying in a puddle of coolant in the open-air garage under my apt lol. Today i accidentally completely unscrewed a bleeder valve and dropped it into the engine bay somewhere cus my hands were so cold. Now I don't know how to fix it. I don't want to give up but it just seems like I'm doing more harm then good. CAn i just plug it with a normal bolt?

Man, and you lived to tell the tale, I can see why you didn't come crawling in here looking for sympathy, you must have been laid up in the hospital for weeks.

Actually, it could have been alot worse.
I was pulling the sending unit out of the head, (I thought I was smart enough to outwit the coolant so I did not drain it)
anyway my genius *** thought I could pull the old one out and just realquick put in the new one, I would only lose a drop or two of coolant right? antifreeze rains down on me and gets in my eyes and I turn my head to the side and barely see that I am laying in a puddle of coolant with a droplight in the puddle as well ......I grabbed the droplight and threw it out from under the car and it bit me the whole way.
I just layed there wondering why I was born with half a brain......
Not one of my better moments I will admit but I did not give up, I am still trying to kill myself with hand and power tools almost every weekend.

Ohhh.....and yes you can plug it with a normal bolt, if you have one that fits but I would suggest that be just a temporary fix until you can do it right, you may need to seal it somehow as well.
and yes cold weather sucks ***, I feel for ya. I had to change a starter in 10 degree weather once or twice and it can suck bad but it had to be done.

If you plug it with a normal bolt, you will ruin the threads. They are tapered pipe threads. You can put a small pipe plug in it, in place of a bleeder.
