Ignition switch wiring

Going through the wiring on a 94 Z28 and am wanting to see if a wire is right.
It is a pink wire going to the ignition switch. There is a resistor installed on it.

Was it this way from the factory or did a previous owner install it? If so what would be the purpose? If I'm reading right on the schematics; it is going to the injectors from the switch.

There is also a resistor installed in the Vats wiring, so someone probably added the above in the pink wire, but I don't know why.

Thanks.

Re: Ignition switch wiring

There would not be any wire going to the injectors from the switch nor a resistor on there. Maybe it was part of a remote start that was on it before?

My apologies. Mis-traced it last night. The pink wire with resistor is going to the long connector right below the ignition switch.

Again, it is something added on and not from the factory.

Below is two photos of the connector and the last is the wire with heat shrink. The resistor is under the heat shrink. (the lowest wiring hanging; hard to tell with the lighting)
