I am not sure which one to go with, Crane, MSD, Accel. Help me out here, I am just looking for a HP gain. The only one that I have seen dyno #s is the Crane ignition. Which said 6HP and 8LBS of torque. THanx for any advise!

 

I have an MSD 6A, which is all I need right now and I am very pleased with it. MSD makes good products but the others are good also. I have heard and read good about all of them on the LT1 cars.

I'm running the MSD 6A also. Over 3 years old with no issues.

 

i have an accel 300+ box used off of my fathers 96LT1 ram air make me an offer.

 

I have the Accel. It's been on the car 4 years w/o any problems. The most
noticable improvement is in smoothing out the engine idle/low speed feel. Not
sure about HP gains.

 

MSD 6a, 4 years not one issue. stock opti w/ 120k miles, low 12.x at the track.

 

whatever is cheapest!

my fav is the mallory digital unit. you can pick it up for around 220, it hooks up to your pc and has built in rev limiters, optitional boost reference and timing controls. unlike the msd where you have to keep buying additional items as you grow. do it right the first time!
